Scribe Time

Today, I was the scribe. We had an especially thrilling discussion today because it was a rather dramatic reading we had assigned. We read pages 66-98 in The Curious Incident of the dog in the Night-time. The main focus was about how Chris found letters in his Dad's room from his supposedly dead mother, 18 months from when she 'died' saying where she was and what she was doing and how much she missed him. Rebecca brought up a great point when she said "Chris is so curious, his Father should have known he would eventually end up finding them!". We all debated wether or not we thought Mr. Boone should have kept this from Chris. I think he shouldn't have and so did Rebecca and Katie. Matt disagreed and said he made a decision with the information at the time. The group did stall after that discussion ended. However, we fixed that by reading our questions from the reading. It was a very successful meeting!
